Second Wind

Talk to someone

A person, not a queue.

The phone is answered by whoever is in the office, which is usually two of us. There is no hold music, no press-one-for, and no script. If nobody picks up, it is because we are with somebody, and we will call back the same day.

Call, easiest(216) 555-0148
  • Monday to Thursday9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday9:00am – 3:00pm
  • SaturdayBy appointment
  • SundayClosed

Or write to hello@secondwindcredit.com. Emails are answered by a person within one working day, and we do not put anyone on a mailing list.

Someone in a plain cardigan being greeted at the front door of a modest house, both in mid-motion.
  • It lasts about half an hour and it costs nothing, in person on Lorain Avenue or on the phone.
  • You do not need to bring your reports, or know your score, or have any paperwork at all.
  • Nobody will ask for a card number, a bank login, or your Social Security number.
  • You will be told plainly whether there is anything here worth paying for. Roughly one person in four is told there is not.
  • If you decide against it, that is the end of it. Nobody will ring you back to check.

Or leave a note and we will call you.

Only the first two are needed. Everything else exists so you do not have to explain twice, and you can leave all of it blank.

Whichever you would rather we used. We will use only that one.

When is good to reach you?

Please do not send account numbers, your Social Security number or anything from a bank statement. There is no need for any of it at this stage, and email is not a safe place to put it.

This is a demonstration site, so the form does not send anywhere and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Before you sign anything

Three things the law gives you, whoever you use.

  • No fee before the work is done

A credit repair organisation may not charge or accept payment until the services it promised have been fully performed. Not a deposit, not a setup fee, not a “file activation” charge, not a first month in advance. If anyone asks, that is your answer.

  • A written contract, before any work starts

It must say what will be done, how long it is expected to take, the total cost, and it must come with a separate written statement of your rights under state and federal law. You get a copy of everything you sign, and you get time to read it at home.

  • Three business days to cancel, no reason needed

You may cancel without penalty or obligation at any time before midnight of the third business day after signing. The cancellation form comes attached to the contract; you post it or hand it back, and that is the end of it. Nobody will call to talk you out of it.
